Accounts & Financial Reports

Accounts and financial reports you can use

Monthly statements and management reports that show where your business stands, what changed and what needs attention.

Overview

Most small businesses get a profit and loss statement once a year, months after the period it describes. By then it is history, not information. Regular, reliable reporting turns your accounting into something you can steer by.

We prepare a full set of financial statements every month, add the management views that matter to your business, and explain the numbers in plain English. Every report is checked by a qualified accountant before it is sent.

What’s included

  • Monthly or quarterly profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statement
  • Prior-period comparisons
  • Key figures dashboard: revenue, margin, cash, receivables, payables
  • Department, location or project reporting where your data supports it
  • Written commentary on significant movements
  • Quality checks on balances before reports are issued
  • Year end accounts handed to your US CPA for tax filing
How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. Define

We agree which reports you need, how often and in what format.

  2. Build

Templates are built once from your chart of accounts and reused every month.

  3. Check

Balances are reviewed and reconciled before anything is reported.

  4. Explain

Reports are delivered with commentary, and a call if you want one.

Questions

Common questions

Do you need to do our bookkeeping as well?

Not necessarily. If your books are kept well in house, we can report from them. If they are not reliable, we will tell you and suggest fixing that first.

Which accounting standards do you follow?

We prepare reports to the framework you use and that your stakeholders expect. Tell us what your lender, investor or auditor requires and we will work to it.

Can reports be customised?

Yes. Beyond the standard statements we build the views that matter to you, for example by location, product line or project.
